Great day out!
Review of: The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham
Had the best time! Such value for money as it took the whole day! Survival maze, escape room, assault course, archery, rock climbing and high ropes!! We enjoyed every part of the day and loved that we could repeat base camp activities! Will definitely go again to do the other activities!

Brilliant day out for 12 year olds birthday
Review of: The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham
Great staff, really went over and above to help my son who was very anxious before the maze and with a few adjustments he loved it. We did archery, snorkel, assault course, escape rooms and high rope and loved every one but it was the great staff that made the day so enjoyable - all very knowledgeable and supportive

Review of: The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham
Excellent day out. Paid extra to dive in the large tank with sharks and stingrays. Experience was unreal. Annie & Racheal were excellent teachers. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommended

Staff attitude - hit and miss
Review of: The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham
My partner and I attended the adventure challenge. The staff on the assault course and escape room challenges were awesome! Really personable and engaging. They sports staff on the assault course were particularly helpful. They ran with my partner around the course tree times and shave amazing advice on what to do and what not to do next time.
The staff on the photography were a different story, shouted instructions at us and took photos of us before we were ready or even aware of what was going on. We felt like they couldn’t be bothered and just wanted to get us out of there. When we queried things they didn’t take us seriously and brushed off our feedback.
Our photos at the end were terrible because we didn’t know what was happening or where to look. A shame because we weren’t allowed to take photos on our phones.
It was a fun day but felt that those particular staff could have been more helpful! The photographer on the escape room challenge and the ladies who sat outside of the archery zone as you enter were the ones who were not helpful and who shouted instructions at us before we had time to catch on to what they were saying.
We attended 25th July 2019 AM.

Thank you for taking the time to review The Bear Grylls Adventure.
We were very sorry to hear that your time with us was not the best that it could be, and want to investigate further with the staff in question as this certainly is not the attitude we value at The Bear Grylls Adventure. Please could you email further details, including staff description, to inof@beargryllsadventure.com so our Magic Memories manager may investigate with their team.
We are however very glad to hear that our Assault Course and Escape Room staff were awesome, and helped in making sure you got the best time on the Assault Course. We really hope to welcome you back son for more adventure!

Misrepresentation of what to expect
Review of: The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham
60 minute adventure. No it wasn’t. Like other people there we were so disappointed. The kids had three goes lasting 60 seconds each (you can see the timer so that’s not an exaggeration) and didn’t go above the instructors shoulders because I refused to pay the extra £7 each he asked for to fly them to the top which was only another 30/40 feet !!!!. We just couldn’t afford it after paying £65 for each of them already. This is a disgrace and I feel disappointed that it’s been set up in my home town.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to review The Bear Grylls Adventure.
When fully booked, an iFLY session lasts an hour, including kit up, briefing, practice and two 1 minute flights per person in our wind tunnel. If a session has fewer guests booked in, it will take less time to complete, and we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the time spent doing this experience. Each class still gets two 1 minute flights per person in the wind tunnel with our expert instructor.
The extras and upgrades offered on the day are completely optional for all guests, and are intended to add an extra element of excitement to our guest's days. We charge an additional cost for the High Fly upgrade because it takes specific, time consuming, dedicated and costly training for our more experienced instructors to be able to fly our customers safely. It is not a skill they would need to learn for any other reason. You may also have also noticed a change in the power during the High Fly – it unfortunately almost doubles power usage, so this is another reason we charge to be taken up high to the top of the wind tunnel.
As a new attraction we value all feedback received and your feedback has been taken on board.
We do hope to welcome you back to The Bear Grylls Adventure in the future.
