Taylor Swift is re-recording Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation but when will they each come out?
In November 2020, Taylor Swift confirmed that she had begun re-recording her first six albums. Taylor made the decision to do so after a well-publicised dispute with music manager Scooter Braun. In 2019, Taylor's old label, Big Machine Records, sold all of her masters to Scooter. Taylor then opened up about her difficult relationship with Scooter in a Tumblr post.

Since then, Taylor has said that her team tried to negotiate with Scooter to gain ownership of her masters. However, he has resold Taylor's recordings to Shamrock Holdings and Taylor claims that he still profits from her old music. As a result, she has chosen to re-record the masters she doesn't own (everything pre Lover) so that she officially owns her music.
We now have Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version) and a brand new album named Midnights. However, it looks like she's confirmed that Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is next. With that in mind, here are all the Taylor's Version theories.
When will Taylor Swift release her re-recorded albums?
When will Taylor Swift release Speak Now (Taylor's Version)?
Swifities assemble! It looks like Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is finally happening and it could be weeks away from us. Today (Oct 25), Taylor released her 'Bejewelled' music video and fans have spotted that the entire visual appears to contain many hints that Speak Now (Taylor's Version) will be Taylor's next re-recording release.
The video opens with a string version of 'Enchanted' playing and it closes with a string version of 'Long Live' playing. Both happen to be Speak Now songs. Coincidence? I think not. On top of that, Taylor wears 'SN' hairclips in the video and it's Speak Now's birthday today. It was released on October 25, 2010.
Perhaps the biggest hint of all though is that Taylor enters a lift in the video where all of the 13 numbers correspond to her album releases. She presses the purple 3 button (Speak Now was Taylor's third album and has purple imagery). It's also shown that floor 13 is purple just like Speak Now.
If Taylor were to release Speak Now (Taylor's Version) next, it would be her 13th album!

Now, when exactly is it coming? Well, fans have spotted a scene in the video where Taylor opens a pocket watch and the date is 02, and the time is 12. In other words, fans think the album is dropping on the 2nd of December this year!
Taylor has also listed songs for purchase on her website at $1.29 leading fans to believe that the album could drop 12/9, December 9th. If so, she may release a single on the 2nd? We'll keep you posted with updates.

When will Taylor Swift release 1989 (Taylor's Version)?
As it stands, there's currently no confirmed release date for 1989 (Taylor's Version). Fans initially thought that it would be the second rerelease after Fearless (Taylor's Version) because she teased 'Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)' in the trailer for Spirit Untamed. However, when the movie came out on June 4th, the song was nowhere to be found. (Taylor later released the song in September 2021.)
Taylor later confirmed that Red (Taylor's Version) would be the second re-recorded album, to be released in November. However, she's left multiple 1989 teasers in recent social media posts, interview and music videos, so fans are certain that 1989 (Taylor's Version) will be the fourth rerelease after Speak Now (Taylor's Version).
There are already rumours that Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and the Jonas Brothers could feature on the album.
It's possible that a 2023 release could happen.
